Shipping Requirements
Our priority is to give your horse the safest and most comfortable horse shipping trip while minimizing the stress of transportation. We require each horse to have certain health papers:

Health Certificate (s) generally good for 30 days Negative Coggins (EIA) test, by state, generally 6 months Brand Inspection, if applicable by the state the horse is departing. Ask your vet for recommended vaccinations prior to shipping horses, at least two weeks in advance of pickup.

Horses without current health papers and Coggins report will NOT be picked up. You will be responsible for 1/2 of your balance and the deposit being forfeited, if we arrive for pickup and we cannot pickup horse due to paperwork. Make sure the dates on the paperwork are current for the trips. This is for the health and safety of all our passengers.

A driver has the right to refuse pickup if the horse is uncontrollable. Disclosure of the temperment of the horse is expected by the owner before a contract is accepted. Failure to do so may result in refusing a horse transportation and will result in the loss of the deposit and/or balance.

If we wait for a vet to come to give a certificate or are required to go pickup papers at the vet, if the driver has to wait for any reason for pickup there will be a $50/hour charge.

Halter and Lead Rope
Please send with your horse 1) a good quality halter with a rope type of lead, and snap clip. 2) enough feed/ hay/ special grain for trip 3) paperwork @ pickup, Neg Coggins, health certificate with immunizations, Brand Inspection if necessary (you must check with state the horse is DEPARTING from).

Shipping boots and blankets
If your horse is used to shipping boots for long trips we will monitor how the horse does traveling and remove them if they are a problem. Many horses are not comfortable wearing wraps over a long trip and spend more of their time trying to remove them, potentially injuring themselves. Our dividers prevent injury from kicking of other horses and few horses injure themselves in slant stalls. Professionally applied standing wraps are acceptable, and will only be removed on the trip if they become a problem. Wraps should be applied by skilled people only for protection, damage can be done to horse's legs with incorrect applications.
Blankets: We will put on and take off blankets as weather dictates for your horse, if you wish. Please send in a bag marked with your name and have tags on the blankets, we often have multiple horses who will have the same exact blanket and color. There is no charge for blanketing horses. The trailers are fully enclosed and have drop down windows as well as individual vents.

Special Needs or Instructions
Specific written instructions if your horse has any special needs or concerns. Special feed instructions would be examples, or if the horse has difficulty backing and needs to turn around to off load, has vision problems or anything we need to know to make your horse's trip more comfortable.

Feed and Grain
We ask that horses are provided with enough hay that they are use to eating for the duration of the journey to avoid dietary changes while traveling. If you need us to get hay for your horse, or the hay provided is not useable, there will be a charge to suppy hay at cost. We carry good quality grass or mix hay at all times. Hay must be in bales that we can carry on our the trailer, we cannot carry rounds or more than 100 lbs bales not broken up.

Deposits
A deposit of 50% of the shipping fee is due in advance of the trip. Balance of shipping payment is due and to be paid upon delivery. We accept Cash, Certified Check, Money Orders, and major Credit Cards for payment.
